Affidavit, 1802
The document reads, in part: "It is stated that Gul Bibi, the wife of Sayyid Jaʻfar, was previously the wife of the deceased Mir ʻAbd al-Ghaffar. The deceased Mirza Abu al-Hasan had previously calculated the value of Mir ʻAbd al-Ghaffar's belongings and realized that all the properties were equal to Mir ʻAbd al-Ghaffar's wife's mahr and, based on shariʻah law, he had given them all to her. The affiants should write their names and seal this document so that it becomes valid. December 1802 or January 1803." On the margin, Jahan Banu and Hasan have testified as affiants."

Divorce affidavit, 1851
The document reads: "It has been asked that those faithful and righteous people who are knowledgeable and benevolent testify that on September 6, 1851, I was present at Mirza ʻAbd al-Javad's house and Sara, known as Kuchak Khanum, the daughter of Mulla ʻAbd Allah Jadid al-Islam, was also present and transferred all of her mahr, which was 60 tumans and 20 misqal gold, to me and I divorced her instead and left the divorce contract by Mirza ʻAbd al-Javad." Deposition about recording a marriage, 1910
Sayyid Ahmad A‘mi [the blind] from Kazirun, son of Mirza Kuchak from Kazirun, testifies about his presence at the marriage ceremony between the late Hajiyah Zivar Sultan, daughter of Haji Muhammad Hasan the merchant, and Mirza Zayn al-‘Abidin, son of Haji Muhammad Hasan, in August of 1904. The mahr was one hundred tumans and a volume of the Qur’an. Shaykh Lutf Allah, son of Haj Shaykh ‘Ali Muhammad, was the other witness to the marriage present at the Imam's courthouse.

Khanum Kuchak's deposition, 1898
Khanum Kuchak, daughter of Mashhadi ‘Ali ‘Askar, states that she has received all her mahr from her husband, ‘Ali Asghar, and settles any possible claims for some white crystal candies. She has also received seven tumans for the expenses during the waiting period. Khanum Kuchak’s mother, Fatimah, daughter of Karbalayi Isma‘il from Khaminah, and her uncle, Karbalayi Muhammad ‘Ali, have also underwritten this settlement.

Deposition of ʻAli Riza, Muhammad Husayn, Mashhadi Husayn, and Khanum Nawbar, the children of Haj Ghulam Riza Baqqal [the grocer] from Shiraz, about the ownership of a grocery store, a wood and grain trading shop, and two [illegible] shops worth one hundred and ninety-five tumans.
